F.A.Q

Q: How do I prepare for my session?

A. Please click the links for below for information how to prepare for your chosen therapeutic modality:

Q: What does hypnosis feel like?

A. Every day you experience natural hypnotic states when you ‘drift off’ whilst watching television, driving or just daydreaming. under hypnosis, I will take you into a deeply relaxed state, with your conscious mind in a kind of "offline mode" in order to access the subconscious mind to imprint new, empowering suggestions, providing life changing transformations.  However, being under hypnosis is different for everyone, some feel very relaxed as if you’re in a long, powerful meditation after a strong yoga class. Others may feel less relaxed, giggly, fidgety, or more aware. Either way, it is working and most people generally feel super relaxed and at ease.

Q: Is being under hypnosis like being asleep?

A. No, you will be awake and you might even feel more alert, and yet in a deep state of relaxation. It isn't uncommon to fall asleep, especially during the transformational part of the hypnosis which can feel quite restorative with the positive elements inscribed within, but don't worry you subconscious mind is always on so it will still receive the and integrate therapy, and I'll be sure gently wake you if we are in the psychotherapy, regression or neuro linguistic programming part of the hypnosis.

Q: How does hypnosis work?

A. The brain has different levels of consciousness, or awareness, ranging from fully alert to drowsy to fully asleep, with variations in between. Hypnotic states occur naturally and spontaneously each and everyday, when in this state one is more suggestible, this is how something like advertising works on the mind for when watching tv we are often in a hypnotic state. Clinical hypnosis deliberately induces this kind of relaxed state of awareness because suggestions during hypnosis can cause dynamic changes in brain activity. Areas responsible for processing cognition and emotion show greater activity during hypnosis. Once the mind is in a relaxed state, uncovering the root cause of issues will often take much less time than regular talk therapy, exploring it under hypnosis gives a powerful new perspective, and then as a result the following therapeutic suggestions can have great effect on attitudes, perceptions and behaviours. Because hypnosis promotes particular brain wave activity, that allows the mind to take in and adopt new ideas while accessing the ‘subconscious mind’, for it is more open to new ideas than the rational ‘conscious mind’.

Q: Am I under your control during hypnosis?

A. No. You cannot be taken into hypnosis against your will nor made to do anything you would not want to do. You are able to come out of hypnosis at any time you choose. The most important thing to remember is that YOU are in total control, there is nothing that anyone can make you say or do under hypnosis that you do not wish to do. You are completely aware of yourself and  surroundings at all times.

Q: What if I can't be hypnotized?

A. Everyone can, as long as you wish to enter hypnosis, you will. It's an easy, enjoyable and thoroughly relaxing process. People that find it hard to enter hypnosis are often resisting it because they are scared of losing control or having someone else have power over them. The big thing to understand is that by entering hypnosis you are gaining control and by resisting it you are just showing that you are not in control.

Q: Is hypnotherapy safe?

A. Absolutely. You enter hypnosis with a deep relaxation technique and you are brought out in a safe, controlled and relaxed manner at all times. Hypnosis is a safe and effective method, arguably the most effective method of helping people get unstuck. There are no drugs. There are no risks of overdoses or side effects as marked on the label. Most concerns revolve around the idea that hypnosis is so powerful that it can send a person off the edge. Without a doubt, there are some people that you don’t want to use hypnosis with.

Q: What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?

A. If you go back to scenes from your life that are related to things like sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma, it's important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply reviewing it and that you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal - you'll be okay.

Q: How does my outer reality mirror my internal reality?

A. Because what you have, what you do and what you experience are all reflections of receptive, perceptive and expressive processing system operating in the subconscious realm of your being. This system is designed to replicate the internal energies of your bio-sphere outwardly for the purpose of creation in the outer field of your existence.

Q: Where does lasting change begin.

A. Within. Healing, transformation & growth in ourselves & even nature, it all starts on the inside & works its way out. Just watch a flower bloom or a butterfly emerge. You gotta first BE the change you want to experience inside yourself before you experience it externally .

Q: What is the ultimate goal integrated healing?

To bring the mind-body-energy system back into harmony, unity and balance, for these are the cornerstones to building wholeness, and to be whole is to be healthy. The human being is an incredible bio-machine of innumerable working parts. Like an astounding orchestra of living instruments, the sum of its biological, neurological and psychological components produce the musical expression that is singularly YOU!

Q: Is it possible to bring myself back to wholeness, vitality and health?

A: Yes by bringing your Mind back to your truth, that you entered this world with whole, perfect minds, brimming with natural confidence and self-esteem. Just look into the eyes of a baby and you'll see how they illuminate our world with love and playfulness, but not because they know how to DO life, because they know how to BE life, for children fully inhabit their being-ness. The light and joy you see sparkling in their eyes, comes from the fact that they are fully, completely and honestly being themselves -- without shame. It is a focused journey to make our way back to this truth of our wholeness, it requires one to decode the corrupted programs of the mind that are blocking the acceptance and belief in our truth. Welcoming oneself back into wholeness also often requires focused body work to bring our physical Self and needs into balance, as well as a discovery and understanding of one's energetic Self, and how to redirect energy into higher frequencies that heal, uplift and re-energise this invisible and yet highly influential part of our being. In session you will learn how to activate and integrating the body-mind-energy system you exist in and bring back to a state of wholeness.

Q: What are core beliefs?

A: Core beliefs are our most central and deeply held ideas and assumptions about ourselves, others, Life and the world. These beliefs act like a lens through you see through, calibrating every situation, event or life experience and the world around you. They are firmly embedded in our thinking and have a large influence on our perceptions and decision making, significantly shaping our reality and behaviours. The truth is that nothing matters more than our core beliefs. Within these belief lie the root causes of many of our problems, including our automatic negative thoughts. And yet, core beliefs are precisely that “beliefs” which are really our personal assumptions, ones which are mostly based on our childhood assessments and condition. Therefore they can often be untrue and yet exist as a blueprint for life. Core beliefs are self-perpetuating, and like a magnet they will attract evidence that makes them stronger, repelling even substantiated evidence if it challenges them. This is why so much of the reality we create rises from these firmly held assumptions within us, but it is possible to change them, however, because core beliefs form such a large part of a person’s worldview, a person may find it difficult to identify them. It also takes time and effort to change core beliefs, but it’s one of the most helpful things we can do for ourselves for in doing so we shift the core of our inner psychological foundation, thus effecting change right through us and around us.

Q: How does my belief system affect my value system?

A: Values are principles of behaviour of what is important in life, they are inherent qualities that you hold high on a personal level. Values don’t always go in-line with beliefs, the reason for this is because beliefs represent our personal acceptance that something is true or exists, even without proof. As explained above your belief system is ingrained in your subconscious mind during childhood during the first 6–7 years of your life through knowledge, experiences , and information learnt from caregivers, thus making your belief system is the foundation of your personality.Values are your ethics of life, these are those pillars that you stand by and are perhaps also a no compromise zone for people. These value systems are condensed protocols of your life. It's more of abstract actions that you live by.

Example of Belief :"I believe dishonesty is wrong"

Example of Value. : "I will always be honest."

Q: How do I reach my greatest potential?

A: By unlocking the power of your mind, then activating and integrating the 3 aspects of Mind: your Beliefs, your Values and your Desires, when these come into balance and support each other, the energy you emit will be highly creative. Keep in mind that your energy is the forerunner to positive action. Empowered Beliefs which the your inner precepts of how you perceive yourself and the world around you, they are the foundation to your internal values system of how you operate in the world and move through Life, with both of these integrated and strong, the passion and power with which you manifest and create the reality of your desires fulfill will be undeniable.

Q: Why do certain desires remain unfilled?

A: Because in between you and your "desire fulfilled" there is some form of limited, fear-based belief system sitting like an invisible, impassable boulder which is blocking your steps to fulfilment and freedom. By obliterating your boulders of false, disempowering beliefs, which actually behave like Life creating blueprints, your free up space within you to for empowered beliefs that support and activate the real truth about your nature of Self  — that YOU are an incredible being housed in a magnificent mind-body-energy system. With empowered beliefs at the helm of your Life ship, and your inner value system determining how you navigate the waters around you, not to mention the shifting weather you will most certainly encounter, when with these two aspects of Mind connect into seamless formation and flow,  your power and your passion, which are the yin and the yang, or the masculine and feminine creative forces of your nature are fully unlocked. The consequence of these two creative aspects of our nature fully unlocked will be the birthing of your manifested desires. The true masters of the process of fulfilling desires are those who understand that the goal is not so much the outcome of the desire manifested but rather the full embodiment and fearless emission of the  unique expression that is yours alone -- there is indeed a reason there is only one of you in the whole wide world, for there is a singular purpose you can only fulfill as your gift for Life. This knowing of your significance, and your purpose to Life is the key aspect fulfilling your truest and deepest desires.

Q: How do we live in the same world, and yet experience realities that are singularly ours?

A: Because our reality is strongly affected by our perceptions. One of the great mysteries of the human mind is the link between consciousness and our perception of reality. Humans are sense driven beings with a plethora of information flooding our senses each and every second of the day. Yet even though we may encounter the same feed of information, how we respond to that information defines our experience of it.

Q: How does my mind organize all the information it is inundated with and day out?

A: By making what you might call “informed guesses,” based on how it “expects” things to be. The human nervous system is capable of handling endless streams of information. Our senses serve as the interface between our mind and our external environment. Our mind then processes this information, using the relevant pieces to create thoughts, that can be expressed through language or stored in memory for future use. However, our mind doesn't only gather information from external environments, it also pulls information from emotions, beliefs and memories, all of which are powerful influencers which form both our thoughts and behaviors.

Q: How does resonance affect my ability to fulfill my dreams and desires?

You are a vibrational being, so to achieve a desired outcome, the frequency of your beliefs must support your values, in order to create thoughts which inspire positive actions in service of your desires fulfilled. Science backs this concept with its law of sympathetic resonance. Quantum physics show us that when energies with the same vibrations align they are attracted to each other.  For example plucking a guitar's E string will also vibrate the E string on the next guitar sitting next to it. Limited, negative thinking leads to limited action,  producing negative results and vica versa. The mind is an energy based apparatus & your thoughts & feelings create energy, as can be clearly seen in energy produced by the human body through thermal energy.

You are the master and commander of the ship

sailing upon this vast ocean of Life we all float upon.

The question is:

Do you know yourself?

Do you know who you truly are?

Do know what you want?

... beyond the conditioning of society, beyond the desires of your partner,

beyond the hopes of your family & beyond traumatic life events ...

Who are you beyond all of that?

and most importantly ...

What do you want to feel?

Serve not what you want to do but rather serve the feeling you want to embody.

Don't you work so hard to get what you want just so you can feel good?

So why not skip to the head of the queue of Life, and embody what you want to feel?
